Ahh.. The god forsaken hole that was my education...
Ron Pauls video back in May on Youtube sums up the quite illusionary vision that people have about this man... The facale idea that Paul is fortelling a future run by the constitution, free of big government is laughable frankly... I understand peoples desire for a change, but the reality is that Paul has become a millionaire out of this debacle... He does not care about real freedom and is taking clear advantage of people that are more intelligent han this toss pot will ever give them credit for...
understand that NO politician will bring freedom to your life... Only you will...
The latest thoughtless dross to come out of Whitehall is the idea of forcing those on benefits into full time community work. Scrubbing graffiti off walls, picking up rubbish, sweeping streets etc. I always laugh at politicians ideas of productive work, which always involves cleaning up mess. Of course it has nothing to do with being productive and helping the unemployed get decent employment. It is all to do with punishment, punishment for being lazy primarily.
Of course no one has mentioned how much we are going to pay our newly found community cleansers. If you take the current Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) weekly income of £60.50, it is unlikely they will get anyone to work 37 hours a week for that, particularly when they have been languishing on the dole for some 2 years prior doing sod all. Of course they will have to give them at the very least minimum wage. Failure to do so, would of course smack of ‘do as I say, not as I do’, to current employers, for whom face considerable fines for not paying such a wage. So it will be interesting to note the governments view on this issue, which will no doubt be swayed by the all knowing and wise opinion of the great British public.
However, a question no one will ask during the milee of accusation about lazy dolites living offa my handouts and doing bugger all too boot, is. How much money is this really going to cost, us the tax payer? A fat lot more than it does having them do nothing of course. Who do you think will run the scheme, handing out the brooms, sponges and mops to the so called lazy and ineffective? Well fulltime civil servants of course. So eventually the government having created a wellfare state that is so enormous that even an average family earning £50,000 a year still gets tax credits, is finally going to start employing the unemployed.
Of course anything run by the government is doomed to high costs and virtually no effectiveness. Apart from them that are tasked with the administration of such a collossal project. Not to mention the meaniality of the job of cleaning stuff in public, which will of course serve only one purpose, that of the general masses feeling the lazy fuckers got what they deserved. I hardly see graffiti being stripped from the walls in any productive and expedient manner.
When will governments realise that people only ever become productive through incentive and incentive alone. The stick method never works, so imagining the streets to be cleaner than ever before is pure fantasy. The government knows this of course, they arnt this stupid, what do they care? As long as the general Joe blow on the street is happy that the lazy shites are getting a good kicking, they’ll still be voting for them huh? Well thats what theyre hoping. It really sickens me that a government can increase expenditure on an already over burdened tax payer that can barely pay for all the useless services that already exist and expect us to pay for yet more useless services.
It really is time that people should finally get the message that these useless tosspots called politicians know nothing or care little about the overal wealth and health of the individual. They only ever see things as collectives. We are all money makers for their fat lazy ineffective overbloated sense of purpose selves. They clearly have no wish to help the unemployed for whom they like to keep poor and dependent, as a means to seeking office and power.
Nihilist's they maybe, but this tune was truly inspired... Primal Scream at their best....
Of course the references to an almighty should be ignored, but.... 'My life shines on', is a truly uplifting lyric... One that will always leave me with goose pimples... Enjoy...

I was listening to an excellent podcast today given by a Stefan Molyneux of Freedomain Radio... It was a discussion primarily about having BIG philosophical thoughts.

He brought up an interesting point in regard to concepts we all have when dealing with reality. When we talk of religious faith, parents, the law, nationhood and more importantly government. We often discuss these concepts as real, when in reality there is nothing real about them. These are ideas created from language and given credibility by us, and in particular by those that seek to mould us, but in reality they don't actually exist.
Some of us like to think that we have reached our rational zenith, particularly in regards to religion. Atheism is more popular than ever in its history. People are clearly lapping up the reason behind such truths as, 'there are no gods'.
However, it is clear that we still live with MANY other mythologies that are so ingrained in us, that we are almost completely blind to them. Reality of course, are the senses such as smell, taste, hearing, seeing, touch and perhaps the 6th sense could be considered the intellect. All these senses allow us to move around in this world in a safe and personally beneficial manner. But we are so taken by the myths as outlined above, that we forget the REAL senses that we use, almost without thinking, to clearly find our way within this world.
None of these mythologies can be considered as tangible or physically present, we cannot measure them empiracally. They are concepts that are forced onto us by others. By whom, you may ask? Well people who seek to have power over you of course.
Anyway, I thought I would list the real meaning of these words we show conformity too:
- Religious faith
Myth - A form of righteous piety that fosters contentment & makes all mankind equal.
A form of justifying bad behavior (via forgivenesss from a non entity).
- Parents
Myth - Virtuous people that sacrificed themselves for their children’s endeavour.
Biological coupling of two individuals.
- Law
Myth - Protector of the innocent.
Obey my ideas with threat of force
- Nationhood
Myth - Personal identity that offers a comforting idea of the self.
Geographical borders created and enforced by those that control the guns
- Government (democracy)
Myth - A system of power that allows us to have some say in who governs us
Holding power over the majority by a powerful minority that monoplolise violence.

As Stefan says, 'no concepts exist outside of your mind'. These are just expressions that do not exist in any kind of physical state, they are made up. In other words, they are not a statement of truth, a non sequitor.
Indeed, it is true as a friend of mine said, that these concepts have real outcomes and effects on our lives. Take the police for example, in real terms these are just people like you and me. However, because they wear a uniform we attribute power to them that we would'nt attribute to just anyone else, just them.
Of course, this all comes down to whether we believe that these mythologies provide any benefits for us in our daily lives. My impression is that they have been at best a hinderance and at worse the manufacturer of disaster in most peoples lives, aided and abeted by a paid police force, that in practice, ONLY protects their political masters. We all know the reality of reporting a crime, that this generally involves a slight chuckle from the officer and a filling out of insurance forms. The police will only use real force when either they need to be seen to be doing a good job, such as solving the murder of children or serial rapists etc. Or because they are protecting their masters, of whom you can be sure, are not us the general tax paying gulaggers.
There are many more meanings that these words actually indear. But overwelmingly they are words that force us to conform, to be controlled as well. They are made up by wicked people that seek to have power over us..
Never has Jean-Jacques Rousseau's words been echoed more.
"Man is born free, and everywhere he is in chains. ..."
